EXPERIENCE:

Oscar Hernandez, RPLS (TX Reg. No. 5005, TxDOT Seq. No. 000006344) Project Surveyor has 31 years of experience covering a broad range of surveying services, including Right of Way Strip Maps, Title research, Establishing Boundary locations, Topography, and Land Development Projects in both the private and public sectors. He has 6 years of experience in using GPS RTK. He is responsible for cost estimating, project coordination, supervision of drafting technicians and coordination of survey field crews.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE:


TxDOT Contract No. 21-8XXP1002 – US 83 – FROm ebony ave. to dr. ramirez dr., san juan ave., from us 83 to 6th st. and eagle ave. from us 83 to 4th st. The scope of services includes set BM’s in concrete along Existing ROW @ 1000 ft. intervals, recovery sketches, tie BM’s with full static & fast static GPS, run differential, digital levels thru BM’s, process GPS data, obtain right of entry to x-section outside ROW & x-culvert sites, topographic survey with x-sections ever 50’ from ROW to ROW, set nail in paving edge at even 100’ station & paint X for US, x-section east and west approximately 200’ to beginning of existing natural outfall ditch, tie all visible utilities and detail sewer inlets and manholes, prepare 2D topo & 3D DTM dgn files, calculate baseline, recover and tie existing ROW monumentation and calculate existing ROW lines. PORT ISABEL – CAMERON COUNTY AIRPORT – NEW TERMINAL & PARKING AREA The scope of services includes establishing control at airport site, 50’ grid topo of proposed terminal site and generating design files in MicroStation format. LOWER RIO GRNADE FLOOD CONTORL PROJECT The scope of services includes setting center and wing panels, RTK survey of all panels, process GPS data, remove and discard all panel material upon approval, maintain a mobile GPS crew during flight, tie horizontal and vertical voids, tie and detail bridges, tie culverts, wiers, etc., set benchmarks at 1000’ intervals (5/8” iron rod w/ cap set in concrete), RTK survey of all benchmarks to establish horizontal location, run levels through benchmarks and prepare control sheets.
